About Mitch

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of clinical experience working with individuals and couples, and more than 20 years of experience helping people make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

I also bring a background in functional fitness, which continues to inform a practical, body-aware perspective on change. The way we move, manage stress, and take care of our physical health has a direct impact on how we think, feel, and function day to day. This reinforces an approach that goes beyond insight, emphasizing consistency, follow-through, and real-world application.

I’ve completed advanced training in psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration, including work in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy settings. Across all areas of my work, the focus is on creating clarity, improving how people relate to themselves and others, and supporting changes that are sustainable beyond the therapeutic process.

My Approach

I draw on attachment-based, trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic perspectives — not as a formula, but because meaningful change requires looking at more than one level at once. That means understanding the underlying drivers of behavior and addressing the more immediate ways thoughts, emotions, and reactions show up in day-to-day life.

Many people step away when the work becomes uncomfortable, or remain in treatment without a clear direction — both of which can limit outcomes. The goal here is not just insight, so this work is designed to maintain focus, create direction, and support follow-through, so that progress is consistent and the changes you make hold beyond the process of our work together.

My certifications inform how I work across all services rather than as standalone treatment modalities.
